Connected Care Living is built for older adults, family caregivers, and clinicians — many of whom are managing low vision, low hearing, tremor, or cognitive load. We take accessibility seriously.

What we've built in

• Base 18px body text, 1.6 line height, and a max ~70-character line length for comfortable reading.
• Text-size controls in the floating accessibility panel — scale the whole site up to 160%. Your choice is remembered.
• High-contrast mode toggle for low-vision users.
• Dyslexia-friendly font toggle using Atkinson Hyperlegible.
• Read this page aloud using your browser's built-in speech synthesis.
• 48px minimum tap targets on all buttons, links, and form inputs.
• Icon + text labels — no icon-only navigation.
• Keyboard navigation with visible focus rings on every interactive element.
• No auto-playing media, no carousels, no hover-only interactions.
• Descriptive alt text on product and content photos.
• Semantic HTML and ARIA labels on custom widgets.

Standards we aim for

We aim to conform to WCAG 2.2 AA. Some third-party embedded content (like Amazon links) is beyond our control.
